Caloundra 2
I really like this photo.

Spyder2PRO
Colour issues with Bridge and Lightroom are still driving me up the wall. So I went and bough a ColorVision Spyder2PRO to correctly configure all my monitors. My laptop screen has never looked better. I actually have have light greys now
While I now have correcly calibrated monitors I am still experience the problem with colour shifts in Bridge and Lightroom on two computers. The more I look into the issues I am experiencing on the forums, the more I feel the problem is linked to Adobe Camera RAW and calibration of ACR. I have added a new step in my editing process to use the canon raw converter which always gives me the colours bang on. However I am really interested in purchasing Lightroom for the management of my photos and really don’t wish to add that step.
I also picked up a GretagMacbeth ColorChecker chart in which I will run through some calibration tutorials to see if this eliminates the the problem.
Southport
Another early riser for this one. I got some ok shots here but I really didn’t enjoy it that much, mainly the annoying flies and smell of rotting fish bait.

Caloundra
It has been about a month or so since I got up for a sunrise… and boy! have the twilight and sunrise times changed. I had to get up just after 3am to get to Caloundra for a 4:30 nautical twilight start, but I always totally enjoy it so that does matter. This is the also the first use of my Cokin ND filter

What has been going on…
Well It has been an extremely busy month or more. In that time I have managed:
a) finish a massive website at work (with a little help from Adam).
b) shoot Adam and Nee’s wedding (photos coming soon guys)
c) attend 3 fashion shoots
d) go on holiday for 2 weeks.
e) do some storm chasing
f) catch some sunrises both north and south of Brisbane
g) and amongst all that actually take some time to relax.
I will post some photos on all these soon. Most of them you can already see on flickr
